Engineers also reportedly had difficulty figuring out how to keep the car on the ground, as it showed a penchant for taking flight at high speed. We hear such claims from upstart companies quite a lot actually, and while we love the excitement and inspiration behind such ideas, most die without ever getting past the drawing board. According to a CarBuzz report on Thursday, the company’s goal is to reveal the production version of the Devel Sixteen by the end of this year.
It is, however, gloriously throaty and loud, and the production version will be even louder. The company told the website development is at “full speed” and it is considering where to unveil the hypercar.
Devel plans to build just seven units a year in Texas, and the 5,hp version is slated to be the first one available.
